Anthony Jerome Hall Jr.'s preliminary hearing set for January, 2009

Hall was arrested on September 19, 2008 after the beaten body of 14 month old Nathan Coleman was found in a Long Beach dumpster. He has been charged with 2nd degree murder, assault on a child causing death, and child abuse.

He had been dating the child's mother and was babysitting him at the time of the murder.

The 3 year old girl who was found in a Watsonville Motel six has been identified by friends and family as Isabella Grace Martinez. Her mother, Veva Virgil, 37, was arrested on Sunday night.

Weaver died Monday of injuries she sustained when she jumped out a bathroom window on October 3 to allegdely to escape Muniz's abuse.

Gregory Nelson to be charged with 1976 murder of 6 year old boy in California

William "Willie" Cook, age 6 of Happy Camp, was found murdered in a soap barrel in 1977.

He had been abducted on August 28, 1976 after his father left him in the bed of his

pick-up truck for a short time at a Happy Camp service station.

Skylar Deleon's murder trial is underway

Deleon is accused of chaining Tom and Jackie Hawks to the anchor of their yacht and throwing them overboard. The couple's bodies have never been found. Deleon's wife has already been convicted of two counts of first degree murder and has been sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.

The Deleons are said to have gained the Hawks' trust by pretending to be interested in the yacht they were selling, even bringing their toddler son to a meeting. The murder occurred when the couple went on a test cruise with Daleon and two other men. They tied up the couple, forced them to sign over the title to the boat, then threw them overboard.

The body of 14 month old Nathan Coleman was found in a rolling trash bin in an alley in Long Beach after his mother reported that he had been kidnappedby her boyfriend, Anthony Jerome Hall.
