Deon Ross charged in murder of Alheli Alcantara

Alheli Alcantara's body was found outside the Quality Inn on East Poyntz Ave. in Manhattan, Kansas Sunday. Her co-worker at Burger King, Deon Ross, has been charged in her kidnapping, rape, and murder. He will have a preliminary hearing on October 24th.

Richard Davis, 44, of Independence, Kansas sentenced to death for rape and murder caught on video

Marsha Spicer was raped and murdered while being videotaped in 2006. Davis has been convicted and sentenced to death in her case.

Davis and his girlfriend, Dena Riley, are also charged with another videotaped murder in the death of Michelle Huff-Ricci.

Chelsea Brooks murder trial underway in Kansas

Chelsea Brooks was 14 years old and 9 months pregnant when she was strangled and dumped in a shallow grave. The trial for her boyfriend, the alleged ringleader of the crime, is underway in a Kansas court.

Elgin Ray Robinson Jr. is accused of hiring two men to kill the girl. Everett Gentry has pleaded guilty to the murder and Theodore Burnett was convicted in May of this year. Gentry is the key witness in Robinson's trial and says that he was hired to kill the child.
